Freddy is a 7.5-year-old Irish Setter/Golden Retriever mix, and we’ve loved him since his very first floppy-puppy stumble. He’s high energy — like, “zoomies at 6am for no apparent reason” energy — with the kind of enthusiasm that makes coffee look lazy.
This handsome red-coated goofball is loyal to his family, protective of the snack cabinet, and convinced he must greet every guest with a full-body wag. He has the athletic spirit of an Irish Setter, the golden-hearted sweetness of a Retriever, and the sharp reasoning skills of a dog who definitely knows the word “treat.”
Whether he’s running laps in the yard, chasing imaginary squirrels, or snuggling like a 90-pound lapdog, Freddy brings joy, chaos, and unconditional love every single day. There’s never a dull moment — and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
